Welcome to The Speech Social! I’m Lauren, a pediatric speech language pathologist with 10+ years experience in a variety of settings including public and specialized schools, early intervention, and private practice. I have a passion for working with all children of abilities while having the opportunity to connect with families to provide support and guidance and becoming a member of their village!
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at the Pennsylvania State University, with a major in Communication, Sciences, and Disorders and a minor in Health and Human Development. I earned my Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Seton Hall University.
I provide specialized therapy in the areas of speech and language delays, feeding, articulation and phonology disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, early intervention, Gestalt Language Processing, stuttering,
I believe that therapy is most successful when approached through play and connection, while recognizing and providing therapy following a whole-child approach through sensory, motor, and emotional regulation needs.
I am also a Mama of two young children- Savanna and Hunter! One of biggest advocacies of The Speech Social, is that I am a Mom just like you, I understand the questions, concerns, and hopes that come with seeking services for your child. My promise as your SLP is to always connect with your family to provide support with empathy, understanding, and practical guidance.
